In the classroom, you’ll cover essential concepts such as basic anatomy, safety principles, breathing techniques, mindfulness, and leadership skills. In the gym, you’ll lead beginner-friendly yoga sessions, simple flows, and practical application of the techniques they’re learning. We’re looking for an instructor who can transition smoothly between theory-based teaching and active movement. Someone who can keep older high school students focused, set clear expectations, and create a calm and supportive environment within a typical school setting. The ideal candidate brings formal yoga-teacher training (RYT-200 preferred), experience working with teens, and strong communication and classroom-management skills. You should feel confident teaching students who may be completely new to yoga and guiding them step-by-step in a safe, accessible, and encouraging way.
