The Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) Manager assists with supervising and running the day-to-day operations of the QSR counters. Reports directly to the QSR General Manager and Assistant General Manager and supervises the QSR staff of service leads, baristas and sales associates. • Maintains a steady leadership presence on the floor, interacting with guests, team members and vendors to ensure Eataly’s operations are running smoothly and high hospitality standards are met, • Collaborates closely with the QSR GM and AGM on certain aspects of management including administrative and financial duties, • Trains, motivates, mentors and organizes team members, • Estimates food and beverage needs, and requisitions or purchases food, beverage, supplies and equipment; receives and checks orders to ensure that they adhere to specifications, • Monitors inventory, checks orders and distributes supplies as needed throughout the department, • Manages transactions and ensures accurate accounting, • Records shift notes and assists with administrative duties such as scheduling when needed, • Ensures department complies with all quality, health, safety and sanitation standards, • Documents, investigates and resolves employee and guest incidents, • Performs other duties as required or assigned Salary for this role: -$65k-$75k Qualifications • High school graduate or equivalent; post-secondary degree preferred, • 2+ years of lead or supervisory experience in food service, • Math skills and ability to handle money accurately, • Strong knowledge of steps of service, • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, • Knowledge of coffee and coffee production, • Knowledge of Italian cuisine and beverage preferred, • Knowledge of leading a team of 15+ members, • Knowledge of scheduling Job Requirements • Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends and holidays, • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, • Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting, • Ability to operate equipment such as manual espresso machine, drink blender, and cash register Additional Information • Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance, • Paid Time Off, • Paid Parental Leave, • 401K with match or RRSP, • Bonus program, • Free family meal daily, • Discounts at Eataly, • Classes on products and Italian cuisine, • Referral bonus program, • and more!
