The role requires the candidate to teach simple dishes to middle school students in a classroom setting. 90 minutes class, twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays. From 12 noon until 1:30pm $100 per class plus provided funds for grocery shopping before class The school is located on 12th Street in Long Island City, Queens NY. Please be local or able to travel to the location.

Part Time Night Bread Shaper/Baker 3 –4 days per week Starting @ 5:30pm Join our team of experienced and expert bread shapers and bakers. Learn how to shape all of our doughs by hand. As a shaper you will have the opportunity to learn about proofing the dough, dividing it into pieces for shaping, and baking loaves after they have proofed. Qualifications: Our shapers and bakers have excellent hand skills and treat the dough very gently. Shapers and Bakers must work fast and efficiently as part of a team; follow the direction of the Production Supervisor; and be able to get along with a variety of people. Previous experience with bread and/or culinary school experience is preferred. Ability to communicate in English is a must. This is a nighttime position, weekends are required.
