This role oversees daily operations, staff performance, patient throughput, quality initiatives, regulatory compliance, and patient safety while ensuring efficient workflow and optimal utilization of Cath Lab resources. Job Responsibilities\n \n • Manage the daily operations of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, EP Lab, Neuro, Vascular, and CDAR.\n, • Develop staff schedules, assignments, and daily workflow to ensure efficient operations.\n, • Supervise patient flow from admission through recovery and discharge.\n, • Collaborate with Cath Lab Supervisors, Lead Technologists, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams.\n, • Monitor first-case on-time starts, room turnover times, patient throughput, and resource utilization.\n, • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, Joint Commission standards, OSHA, Department of Health (DOH), and federal/state regulations.\n, • Lead quality improvement, patient safety, risk management, and performance improvement initiatives.\n, • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement process improvement strategies.\n, • Provide leadership, coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations for Cath Lab staff.\n, • Ensure adherence to evidence-based clinical practice and nursing standards.\n, • Participate in budgeting, staffing, and resource management.\n, • Support continuing education, competency validation, and staff development.\n, • Promote a culture of patient-centered care, teamwork, and clinical excellence.\n, • Maintain regulatory readiness and accreditation compliance.\n Required Clinical Experience\n \n, • Minimum 5 years of Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory experience.\n, • Minimum 10 years of clinical cardiology experience.\n, • At least 3 years of Critical Care, Clinical Cardiology, Interventional Radiology, Perioperative, or closely related experience.\n, • Current endovascular/cardiac catheterization experience required.\n Required Procedures / Case Experience\n Candidates must have experience with: \n \n • Right Heart Catheterization (RHC)\n, • Left Heart Catheterization (LHC)\n, • Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)\n, • Permanent Pacemaker Implantation\n, • Loop Recorder Implantation\n, • Peripheral Angiography & Interventions\n, • Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)\n, • Permacath Insertions\n, • Fistulograms\n, • Venograms\n, • Port Insertions\n, • Inferior Vena Cava (IVC) Filter Placement\n, • Transcarotid Artery Revascularization (TCAR)\n, • EKOS Catheter Procedures\n, • Endovascular Aneurysm Repair (EVAR)\n Required Skills\n \n, • Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Operations\n, • Clinical Cardiology\n, • Leadership & Team Management\n, • Staff Scheduling & Supervision\n, • Quality Improvement\n, • Regulatory Compliance (Joint Commission, OSHA, DOH)\n, • Patient Throughput & Workflow Management\n, • Risk Management\n, • Performance Improvement\n, • Budget & Resource Management\n, • Critical Care Knowledge\n, • Interventional Cardiology\n, • Endovascular Procedures\n, • Strong Communication & Organizational Skills\n, • Moderate Computer Proficiency\n Education\n Required: \n \n • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)\n \n Preferred: \n \n • Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) or related healthcare field\n Required Licenses & Certifications\n \n, • Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License\n, • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)\n, • AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)\n \n About Talent4Health\n \n A leader and innovator, offering comprehensive talent solutions for the healthcare industry across the nation.
