Job Description About VŌS VŌS Growth Platform is a new beauty-industry platform launching in Midtown Manhattan. About the Opportunity We are looking for ambitious emerging and experienced hairstylists who are ready for their next stage of growth and motivated to build something stronger for themselves. Whether you are a Junior Artist ready to take on a more active role or an established stylist looking for more room to grow, VŌS provides a professional place to work, along with support focused on client growth, visibility, continued development, and long-term career progress. Responsibilities • Perform hair services based on your experience and demonstrated skill level, • Provide professional consultations and client care, • Build and maintain strong client relationships, • Actively support the growth of your clientele through consistent service, follow-up, and professional visibility, • Maintain a clean, organized, and properly prepared work area, • Follow sanitation, safety, and salon standards, • Participate in training, mentorship, or professional development when appropriate, • Contribute to a respectful, collaborative environment and the overall success of the VŌS platform Qualifications • Active New York State cosmetology license, • Approximately 1–4 years of hands-on salon experience preferred, • Service-ready and comfortable working directly with clients, • Foundational experience in cutting, styling, color, or another hair specialty, • Strong communication and client-service skills, • Professional, dependable, and open to feedback, • Passionate about their craft and interested in continuing to develop their career, strengthen their skills, and grow their clientele with the support of the VŌS platform This is not a cosmetology-student or basic-training position. Candidates should have completed their foundational education and be ready to perform hands-on services with clients based on their current experience and demonstrated skill level.
