We publish local papers in lower Manhattan and Brooklyn. We need someone who is looking for an opportunity to break into the sales field. This is not an easy proposition, print newspapers are not the hottest thing right now, but we have a loyal local readership responsive to our pages. We also offer local digital ads. Look up Star-Revue online and you'll find our two websites and get an idea what we are about. You will make minimum wage for your time, and real money with commissions if you become good at it. You've got to be comfortable with rejection, because every ten or fifteen rejections may lead to a sale. This is mostly about persistence and relationship building. The company backs you up with training, promotions and we use Monday for organization.
