What You Will Be Doing: -Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and chiller systems. -Independently respond to and complete service calls with minimal supervision. -Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and system inspections on a variety of commercial HVAC equipment. -Clearly communicate findings and recommended repairs to customers and internal team members. -Maintain accurate service documentation and work orders. -Participate in the rotating on-call schedule. -Service work is concentrated throughout Nassau County and the surrounding areas. -Typical daily driving ranges from 30-60 miles, often less. -Technicians generally service 1-4 customer locations per day, depending on workload. Required Skills & Experience: -5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience preferred. -Ability to work independently and effectively manage service calls from start to finish. -Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills on commercial HVAC systems. -Ability to read electrical diagrams, blueprints, and technical schematics. -Experience servicing a variety of commercial HVAC equipment manufacturers. -For Chiller Technician candidates, experience as an A-level chiller mechanic is required. -Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
