About the Role

Orbital Kitchens is hiring an Expeditor every order leaves the kitchen complete and guest-ready.
The Expo position is the final checkpoint before food reaches the guest. This role requires speed, focus, communication, and strong attention to detail. You will work closely with kitchen stations, dispatch, and delivery teams to keep orders moving accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and verify every ticket before an order is packed or sent.
  • Match food items, modifiers, sauces, sides, utensils, drinks, and add-ons to each ticket.
  • Check food for accuracy, freshness, portioning, temperature, and presentation.
  • Bag, label, seal, and organize orders according to brand standards.
  • Communicate clearly with kitchen stations, dispatch, and team members.
  • Call out missing, delayed, or incorrect items before they leave the kitchen.
  • Monitor order flow and help keep tickets moving during busy periods.
  • Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized expo station.
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and packaging standards.
  • Support the team during high-volume service.

PREREQUISITES: Education: Must be able to read, write, speak clearly, listen attentively and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace. Experience: Has a basic knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations. Previous experience in food production and demonstrated organization and time management skills are beneficial. Physical: Must be able to bend, stoop, lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and move from area to area in the kitchen. Must possess visual acuity, communication and ability of both a verbal and written nature.
