Third Proof Pizza | Pine Brook, NJ Master the oven. Master the craft. We're looking for an experienced Pizza Oven Cook to take command of the heart of our operation. This is one of the most skilled positions in the restaurant. Success requires speed, focus, memory, and the ability to stay composed while managing multiple pizzas during high-volume service. Responsibilities • Operate the pizza oven throughout service, • Learn oven hot spots and manage cooking temperatures, • Rotate and move pizzas to achieve the perfect bake, • Ensure crusts are cooked evenly and consistently, • Cut, finish, garnish, and package orders accurately, • Maintain oven station prep including basil, Parmesan cheese, and finishing ingredients, • Prepare small baked items such as cookies before opening, • Keep the station clean, stocked, and ready for service We're Looking For Someone Who • Has experience working a high-volume pizza oven, • Thrives under pressure, • Has excellent timing and multitasking skills, • Pays close attention to quality and presentation, • Can maintain composure during busy rushes Schedule • Wednesday through Saturday: 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, • Sunday: 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, • Closed Mondays and Tuesdays Compensation • $200-$250 per day, • Weekly pay every Wednesday If you can run an oven with confidence and consistency, we'd love to have you on our team.

This role is responsible for managing our pizza production throughout the day while helping ensure we're always prepared for service. Responsibilities • Stretch and build pizzas during service, • Manage dough inventory and proofing schedule, • Pull dough as needed for proper fermentation, • Plan dough production several days ahead, • Prepare garlic knots, • Prep pizza ingredients including sauces, cheeses, and toppings, • Maintain a clean and organized pizza station, • Work with the team during high-volume service Ideal Candidate • Experience making hand-stretched pizzas, • Understands dough fermentation and proofing, • Works efficiently in a fast-paced environment, • Has strong attention to detail, • Takes pride in consistency and craftsmanship Schedule • Wednesday through Saturday: 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, • Sunday: 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, • Closed Mondays and Tuesdays Compensation • $250-$275 per day, • Weekly pay every Wednesday If pizza is your craft, we want to talk with you.
