BarBholi, a vibrant local bar in Franklin Square offering a unique blend of Indian fusion and classic American bites, is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. This role is essential in supporting our kitchen operations and ensuring a smooth, efficient service. Key Responsibilities: • Assist chefs with food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients., • Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene, including washing dishes, sanitizing workstations, and cleaning kitchen equipment., • Support inventory management by receiving, storing, and organizing food supplies., • Help with basic cooking tasks under the guidance of the kitchen staff., • Ensure all food safety standards are met., • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment. We are looking for someone who is reliable, organized, and eager to learn in a dynamic kitchen setting. Previous kitchen experience is a plus, but a strong work ethic and willingness to contribute are most valued.

Sweet Bamboo Hillside Location: 14612 Hillside Ave, Jamaica NY. Key Responsibilities: • Learn and memorize the ingredients for each menu item, • Prepare and fry food items according to Sweet Bamboo’s recipes and standards, • Cook rice using our electric rice cooker (training provided), • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen throughout the shift, • Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures, • Support with kitchen closing tasks, including equipment cleaning and sanitation, • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and communicate clearly with team members
