We are a boutique intellectual property law firm representing inventors, entrepreneurs, startups, and established companies in all aspects of patent and trademark law. Our practice focuses on U.S. and international patent prosecution, trademark registration and enforcement, and related intellectual property matters. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patent and Trademark Paralegal to assist our attorneys with all phases of patent and trademark prosecution and portfolio management. The ideal candidate is proactive, capable of managing multiple deadlines, and comfortable working independently while maintaining exceptional accuracy. Patent Matters • Prepare and electronically file USPTO patent documents through Patent Center., • Prepare Information Disclosure Statements (IDS), powers of attorney, assignments, and other prosecution documents., • Monitor and docket USPTO deadlines., • Assist with responses to Office Actions and other prosecution matters., • Coordinate domestic and international patent filings with foreign associates., • Maintain patent files and correspondence., • Communicate with clients regarding filing requirements and deadlines. Trademark Matters • Prepare and file U.S. trademark applications through TEAS., • Prepare Statements of Use, Declarations of Use and Incontestability, renewal filings, assignments, and other post-registration documents., • Monitor trademark deadlines and maintenance requirements., • Assist with TTAB proceedings, including discovery, scheduling, and document management., • Conduct preliminary trademark searches and compile search results., • Maintain domestic and international trademark portfolios. No prior paralegal experience necessary. We are looking to train in USPTO related paralegal matters.
