Position Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic, outgoing, and reliable Flower Garland Sales Associate to join our Renaissance Faire team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys interacting with guests, working outdoors, and contributing to the immersive atmosphere of the faire. Sales associates will create a welcoming shopping experience while helping guests select handcrafted flower garlands and floral accessories. Key Responsibilities • Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, engaging customer service., • Promote and sell flower garlands, crowns, and related accessories., • Assist customers in selecting products that suit their style and occasion., • Handle cash, credit card, and mobile transactions accurately., • Maintain an attractive, organized, and fully stocked sales booth., • Learn product details, pricing, and basic floral care to answer customer questions., • Encourage add-on sales and upsell complementary items., • Help set up and break down the booth each day., • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment., • Represent the spirit and atmosphere of the Renaissance Faire with enthusiasm and professionalism. Qualifications • Excellent communication and customer service skills., • Comfortable speaking with large numbers of guests throughout the day., • Dependable, punctual, and able to work weekends and holidays during the faire season., • Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods., • Able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds., • Previous retail or sales experience is preferred but not required., • Interest in Renaissance culture, cosplay, theater, or festivals is a plus. Desired Qualities • Friendly and energetic personality., • Positive attitude and strong work ethic., • Team player with a willingness to help wherever needed., • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions., • Ability to multitask during busy festival crowds. Schedule • Weekends and select holidays during the New York Renaissance Faire season (August 15th to Oct 4th, 2026), • Shifts typically range from 8–10 hours, including setup and closing duties.
