    General Construction Operative / Multi-Skilled Labourer Full-time, Cheshire based We are looking for a reliable, hardworking person to join our small construction team on a full-time basis. We carry out a range of agricultural and general construction work, mainly across Cheshire. The work is varied, and we're looking for someone practical, switched on and happy to get stuck in. You don't need to know everything. If you have some construction experience, a good attitude and are keen to learn, we're happy to teach the right person. What you'll be doing Day-to-day work may include: • General labouring and site work, • Agricultural building work, • Site preparation and clearing, • Basic joinery, • Cladding and sheeting, • Flooring, • Basic groundworks, • Using hand and power tools, • Moving and organising materials, • Keeping sites clean, tidy and safe, • Working alongside other trades to get jobs completed properly As the work is varied, we're looking for someone who is happy to turn their hand to different jobs and get involved where needed. What we're looking for More than anything, we need someone who is: • Reliable and turns up when they say they will, • Hardworking and willing to crack on, • Friendly and able to work as part of a small team, • Practical and switched on, • Keen to learn and improve, • Able to use their own initiative, • Happy working outdoors and in different conditions, • Flexible and willing to work on different jobs Previous construction or agricultural building experience is preferred, but attitude and reliability are just as important to us. A driving licence is preferred. Hours and location Usual working hours are 7:00am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday. Most of our work is based across Cheshire, although there will occasionally be work away during the week. Where this happens, you will be back home for the weekend. Pay and progression Pay is dependent on experience and ability. There is genuine opportunity to progress within the business.
