    Supervisor Countrywide Grounds Maintenance Supervisor role Grounds Maintenance Supervisor Salary: £30,000 per year + quarterly bonus Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (7:30am–5:00pm summer / 7:30am–4:00pm winter) Location: Local depot with company van provided We are looking for a Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll lead a small team of operatives while carrying out grounds maintenance services for a wide range of clients. These include schools, parks, parish councils, business parks, and housing associations. What we offer • Salary £30,000 per year (depending on experience), • Quarterly performance bonus, • 40-hour working week, Monday to Friday (early finish in winter), • Company van for use during work and commuting, • Uniform and PPE provided, • Company pension scheme and sick pay, • Ongoing training and development with clear progression opportunities Your role • Lead, support and motivate 1–2 operatives on site, • Carry out a wide range of grounds maintenance tasks, including:, • Grass cutting (large ride-on and pedestrian mowers), • Strimming, hedge cutting and shrub bed maintenance, • Line marking, weed spraying, leaf clearing and litter picking, • Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard, • Communicate with clients on site when needed, • Maintain equipment and promote safe working practices What we’re looking for • Previous experience in team leading or supervising, • Full driving licence (towing experience desirable), • Skilled in using a variety of grounds maintenance equipment, • Good knowledge of grounds maintenance practices, • PA1 & PA6 and horticultural qualifications are an advantage, • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions, • Enhanced DBS certificate (or ability to obtain one) If you’re practical, reliable and take pride in keeping outdoor spaces looking their best, we’d love to hear from you.
