\n Head of Account Management \n North West (Hybrid Working) | Up to £67,000 + £5,400 Car Allowance + Bonus The Opportunity\n We are exclusively partnering with a well-established UK business to recruit an experienced Head of Account Management. \n Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a key leadership role responsible for driving commercial performance, customer retention, revenue forecasting and team development. \n This is far more than a traditional account management position. We are looking for a commercially driven leader who can take ownership of performance, develop a high-performing team, strengthen customer engagement and drive business growth. Key Areas of Focus\n Forecasting & Ownership of Numbers \n\n • Own company revenue forecasting and performance reporting.\n, • Deliver accurate forecasts and communicate risks and opportunities.\n, • Drive accountability for revenue performance.\n\n Leadership & Team Development \n\n • Lead, coach and develop the Account Management team.\n, • Create a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.\n, • Inspire, motivate and challenge the team to maximise performance.\n\n Commercial Growth \n\n • Drive customer retention, profitability and account development.\n, • Identify opportunities to increase revenue within existing accounts.\n, • Support pricing strategies, commercial reviews and contract negotiations.\n\n Sales & Customer Engagement \n\n • Lead from the front in developing customer relationships.\n, • Encourage greater face-to-face customer engagement.\n, • Promote a proactive and commercially focused approach to account management.\n\n Driving Change \n\n • Bring fresh ideas and challenge existing ways of working.\n, • Build credibility with customers and stakeholders.\n, • Drive improvements across the function and wider business.\nResponsibilities\n\n, • Lead and develop the Account Management function.\n, • Conduct regular account reviews, forecasting meetings and performance discussions.\n, • Manage strategic customer relationships and support account growth.\n, • Develop customer retention and commercial growth strategies.\n, • Monitor performance trends and identify opportunities for improvement.\n, • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer outcomes.\n, • Support commercial negotiations and customer reviews.\nAbout You\n\n, • Proven leadership experience within Account Management, Client Services, Sales or Commercial functions.\n, • Strong forecasting capability and commercial awareness.\n, • Track record of driving customer growth and retention.\n, • Experience developing high-performing teams.\n, • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\n, • Proactive, resilient and results focused.\n\n Experience within print, packaging, manufacturing, fulfilment or a similar complex B2B environment would be advantageous. However, exceptional candidates from other sectors will also be considered.
