This is your chance to join Staffline as a Night Logistic Specialist, supporting a busy logistics site based in Corby. \n The Opportunity \n In this role, you’ll play a key part in the overnight operation of a large transport and warehousing hub. Working 4 on / 4 off, 7PM–7AM, you'll act as the go-to support on site during night shifts – ensuring things run smoothly, problems are resolved quickly, and all records are accurate and compliant. \n This role is perfect for someone who’s proactive, well-organised, and ready to get stuck in. \n What you’ll do as Night Logistic Specialist \n\n • Welcome, brief, and debrief drivers before and after shifts\n, • Manage documentation including timesheets, absence logs, and change requests\n, • Ensure compliance processes are followed and paperwork is audit-ready\n, • Communicate updates and ETAs to internal teams\n, • Respond to operational issues or last-minute changes\n, • Support system updates for shift tracking and reporting\n, • Be the on-site contact for workers and escalate any issues to on-call managers\n\n What you’ll gain \n You’ll build real experience in transport and logistics support while developing essential skills in coordination, compliance, and communication. Job Title: Fabricator / Pipe Fitter Location: Corby Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Salary ·£16.00 - £18.00 per hour, depending on experience Working Hours ·Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM ·Friday: 7:30 AM - 2:30 PM Flexibility is required, as occasional extended hours and overnight stays may be necessary. ·Overnight allowance: £25 per night ·On-call rota: Once every 8 weeks, with an additional £100 payment Key Responsibilities ·Fabricate and install a variety of pipework systems. ·Carry out TIG and/or MIG welding to a high standard. ·Complete off-site installation and fitting work using a company vehicle. ·Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication specifications. ·Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations and quality standards. ·Work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines. ·Be flexible to work additional hours and stay away overnight when required. Requirements ·Proven experience as a Fabricator / Pipe Fitter. ·Essential experience in TIG and/or MIG welding. ·Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. ·Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. ·Ability to work independently as well as within a team. ·Flexible approach to working hours and overnight travel. ·Full UK driving licence (required to operate the company vehicle).
