Vision and Purpose of the Role Plan, prepare and deliver lessons within Nurture Classes. Support pupils to access the curriculum and develop independence. Contribute to a caring, safe, and ambitious learning environment. Role Overview Higher Level Teaching Assistants play a vital part in delivering high-quality SEND provision across the Academy. Deployment may include: Plan, resource and deliver lessons in collaboration with teachers and SEND colleagues. Provide targeted intervention and personalised support for students with SEND. Working within specialist Nurture classrooms, the Cognition & Learning Base, or the SEMH Base Supervise classes when teachers are temporarily unavailable. Attend Parents' Evening alongside Lead Nurture Teacher/Nurture Teacher Applications are welcomed from aspiring teachers or those seeking to develop a career in education or the public sector.
