Essential Skills & Experience • Previous experience working within a Finance Administrator, Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, or similar role., • Strong experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes., • Proven experience processing purchase invoices, sales invoices, and bank reconciliations., • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential and non-negotiable., • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, including managing multiple inboxes., • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy., • Strong organisational and time management skills., • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a busy finance environment. What you’ll be doing: • Manage the accounts payable (AP) process and ensure timely payment of invoices, • Assist with invoice chasing and the renewals process, • Record accruals and prepayments, • Cash management, • Process company expenses and receipt collection, • Review VAT returns, • Liaising with external bookkeepers and month end processes, • Assist with other finance items such as required, • Company inventory management and purchasing, • Support the Head of Finance & Ops with risk management / compliance, external audits, security questionnaires etc. when required, • Assisting departments with recruiting, and employee onboarding / offboarding Office management and purchasing, assist with planning and execution of internal company events / socials etc. Requirements The must-haves: • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) or significant experience in a finance or similar role, • Understanding of accruals and prepayments is essential, • Experience managing AP processes, • Xero experience is essential, • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, • Shows initiative and team player, with a hard working attitude, • High level of personal integrity, trustworthy and able to handle confidential information with discretion, • Learning quickly (and getting up to speed on new items), • Working in Start-up/SaaS companies + the nice-to-haves, someone with experience in: • Experience with on/offboarding If this sounds like what you’d love to be doing, we can’t wait to hear from you.
