Mechanical Maintenance Engineer x3 | West Midlands | £35,000 + OvertimeDay Shift | Afternoon Shift | Night Shift Available40 Hours Per WeekOvertime: £20/hour | Sundays: £33.65/hourThe OpportunityWe're recruiting on behalf of a well-established heavy engineering manufacturer supplying ductile iron and steel castings into the turbocharger, manifold and wider engineering sectors.Due to continued growth and significant investment, the business is looking to recruit three Mechanical Maintenance Engineers across day, afternoon and night shifts.This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, growing manufacturer with a substantial forward order book, ongoing investment in new equipment and a strong commitment to developing its engineering capability.Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you'll be responsible for maintaining and improving plant reliability across two manufacturing sites.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activitiesDiagnose and repair faults on hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systemsMaintain gearboxes, bearings, cylinders, valves, pumps and rotating equipmentPerform welding, cutting, grinding and general fabrication workSupport TPM and continuous improvement activitiesWork closely with production teams to minimise downtime and improve plant performanceContribute to safety, reliability and operational improvementsWhy Join?£35,000 basic salaryOvertime paid at £20/hourSunday overtime paid at £33.65/hourDay, afternoon and night shift opportunitiesStable employer with long-term growth plansMajor ongoing investment in plant and equipmentStrong overtime earning potentialFlexible holiday booking outside of shutdown periodsOpportunity to join a business where engineering is central to future successWhat We're Looking ForWe're interested in engineers from foundry, steel, quarrying, aggregates, recycling, cement, heavy manufacturing, process or similar industrial environments.You'll ideally have experience with:Hydraulics, valves and cylindersBearings and rotating equipmentPneumatic systemsMechanical gearboxes and transmissionsPumps, conveyors and industrial machineryWelding, cutting and grindingYou'll also have:Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skillsExperience in planned and reactive maintenanceBasic electrical fault-finding knowledgeA hands-on approach and strong commitment to safetyFoundry experience is beneficial but not essential.
