Driver/ Maintenance \n Location: Brookside House, Edgware \n Salary: £12.75 per hour \n Vacancy Type: Permanent, Part Time (20 hours per week) \n Are you the candidate we are looking for? Committed to professional, flexible and personalised care, we are passionate about going the extra mile in providing opportunities for people to thrive and live well. \n About the role \n As a Maintenance person you will be required to perform general maintenance or repairs for assigned equipment/facilities. You will also be required to regularly inspect, log and report items for specialist maintenance. \n Examples of general duties will include minor repairs, painting, building furniture, changing light bulbs, unblocking toilets and gardening. \n You will also need to support with the Health and Safety within the service, ensuring that there are no hazards in place. \n Brookside is a modern residential care home for adults with disabilities, set in a leafy area of Edgware, north London. \n The service takes a person-centred, flexible approach to ensure residents have control and choice over their care. We know that everyone’s needs and aspirations are different – that all sorts of things add up to a flourishing life. \n Residents are actively involved in their community, enjoying regular fitness classes, sports, healthy eating support and much more.
