The Role You will work closely with our creative team to transform design concepts into beautifully crafted physical structures.Projects may include: • Bespoke backdrop structures, • Freestanding signage and display frames, • Luxury plinths and podiums, • Seating plan installations, • Floral structure frameworks, • Event props and custom fabrication, • Installation and dismantling support on event days Key Responsibilities • Construct bespoke wooden structures from design drawings, • Cut, assemble and finish materials to a high standard, • Prepare pieces for painting and decorative finishes, • Assist with installation and breakdown when required, • Problem-solve construction challenges on-site and in the workshop, • Maintain exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship What We’re Looking For Essential: • Previous woodworking, joinery or carpentry experience, • Ability to work independently, • Strong attention to detail, • Practical problem-solving skills, • Pride in producing high-quality work, • Reliable and professional attitude Desirable: • Experience working on exhibitions, events or set builds, • Access to your own tools and workspace, • Ability to read technical drawings, • Experience with painting and finishing techniques What We Offer • Flexible freelance work, • Exciting and varied luxury projects, • Opportunity to work on high-profile weddings and events, • Competitive project-based rates, • Long-term opportunities for the right candidate Job Type Freelance / Self-Employed Location East London, with travel to venues across London and surrounding areas as required. Successful applicant must have: • Good time management on jobs. -Able to work on given instructions and sometimes unattended. -Be able to perform the necessary jobs sometimes on their own accord. -Good plant knowledge, at least 2 years experience with references from other companies. -Hard landscaping skills such as paving,fencing,artificial grass a bonus. • Ideally Looking for someone with a clean full UK driving licence for insurance purposes. -Able to communicate confidently with clients, good level of English, -High standard on all jobs. -Able to use all garden machinery, petrol or electric, hedge cutters, Strimmer, lawnmowers etc. Most clients are private residential and are based in or around Kensington and Chelsea, so would be required to meet on jobs. Also expanding into Surrey around Claygate, Esher, Hinchley wood, Oxshott, leatherhead, Cobham etc. -Full time position. Will initially be a 3 month trial so I can be assured you will be suitable for this position. • 28 days annual leave and pension scheme, bonuses. Replace and repair components including brakes, suspension, clutches, timing belts, and exhaust systems. Complete job cards and maintain accurate service records. Ensure all work is carried out in line with manufacturer specifications and health & safety regulations. Assist with vehicle preparation for sale and customer handovers. Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment. Requirements Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic. Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills. Experience using vehicle diagnostic equipment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Full UK driving licence. MOT Tester qualification desirable but not essential.
