London Pet Club is on the lookout for an experienced dog walker and pet sitter to join our team, on an occasional basis, bringing a wealth of experience in handling dogs of various breeds and sizes. The ideal candidate should exhibit expertise in dog behaviours, leash control, obedience, possess situational awareness, and be confident in managing walks both on and off lead. The dog walker must also be able to conduct occasional pet sittings when requested. This role would suit an individual who has plenty of free time, enjoys the outdoors, and can be flexible with their time. The walker would be supporting the team by floating across our operating areas, and helping with occasional dog walks and pet sitting requests. OUR OPERATING AREAS: Camden, Islington, Finsbury Park, Hampstead, Notting Hill, Chiswick, Hammersmith, Regents Park, Tufnell Park, Paddington, Walthamstow. Being a dog walker and pet sitter is incredibly rewarding, a lot of fun, and certainly not your average 9-5 job. However it requires dedication, a positive and consistent attitude, alongside having excellent customer service and communication skills. You must have dog handling experience and excellent problem-solving skills when working with animals. DOG WALKING: Hours: Up to 10 a week Days: Across Monday-Sunday Pay: £13 per hour/walk Paid: Monthly via invoice Payment is solely for completed dog walks. PET SITTING: (Ad-hoc) To stay at the client’s house Paid: 1-3 hours £13 per hour +4 £40 per day/night YOU MUST: -Be aged over 21 -Be DBS checked -Be physically fit -Be self-employed -Have dog handling experience -iPhone user with sufficient data (to use our app) -Non-smoker -Be confident to walk dogs on/off the lead -Be experienced with various sized dogs, and have an understanding of dogs and their behaviour -Enjoy outdoor walks, in all weather conditions LEGAL AND COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS: These will need to be obtained during the trial period. Candidates are responsible for the cost. • Proof of identity and right to work in the UK, • DBS check, • Public liability insurance To qualify for the position, you need to successfully complete a 1-month trial. TRIAL ASSESSMENT: Shortlisted candidates will be assigned walks, where you will be assessed on your ability to: -Independently walk up to 3 dogs at once, both on and off lead. -Walk 1-3 hours in one setting -Manage dogs’ behaviour and interactions. -Wash and clean dogs post-walk. -Feed and provide care as needed. -Use GPS tracking and mobile applications for client updates via our app. Note: Experience solely gained through caring for family, friends, or personal pets will not be considered as professional experience. We are currently seeking a reliable and caring Dog Transport Driver to join our team. The Role As a Dog Transport Driver, you will play a key role in our daily operations by collecting dogs from clients’ homes and transporting them safely to designated walking locations. This is a Full-time position with consistent hours. The successful candidate will work from 7:00am to 2:00pm, Monday to Friday, and must be happy working mornings and some weekends when required. This role suits someone who genuinely enjoys working with dogs, is confident handling them, and takes pride in providing a professional and friendly service to clients. Key Responsibilities • Collect dogs from clients’ homes in a timely and professional manner, • Safely transport dogs to designated locations, • Handle dogs calmly and confidently, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times, • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the company vehicle, • Follow scheduled routes and daily procedures efficiently, • Communicate professionally with clients and team members, • Support the team with day-to-day dog care responsibilities as needed Requirements • Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record, • Experience driving in London, including navigating busy roads and tight areas, • Physically fit and confident handling dogs, including larger or stronger breeds, • Reliable, punctual and able to commit to consistent full-time hours, • Friendly, professional attitude and strong communication skills, • Comfortable working as part of a team and following established procedures, • Must live within 30 minutes of Hampstead, NW3 1TH, • Happy to work mornings and occasional weekends Vehicle Requirements • A company vehicle will be provided Desirable (but not essential) • Previous experience handling dogs, • Experience in dog care, pet transport, or a customer-facing driving role Pay and Benefits • £15 per hour, • Stable, Full-time hours (7:00am – 2:00pm), • Supportive and friendly working environment, • Training provided on routes, procedures and safe dog handling, • Opportunity to become a valued member of a growing local business, • Performance bonus opportunities Apply: If you have experience driving in London and love working with dogs, we’d love to hear from you.
