Curry Mela, a popular Indian restaurant in Camborne, is seeking a skilled and passionate chef to join our culinary team. We pride ourselves on offering authentic and high-quality Indian dishes to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a diverse range of authentic Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori items, and specialty breads.
- Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards of taste, quality, and presentation.
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and efficient workflow during peak hours.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Indian Chef, specialising in various regional Indian cuisines.
- In-depth knowledge of traditional Indian cooking techniques, spices, and ingredients.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
