We're currently looking for an Event Assistant to support a fast-paced day party event. The role includes helping with event setup, ticket scanning, merchandise sales, assisting DJs and performers, and ensuring the event runs smoothly while delivering an exceptional guest experience. As we host events every month, we're looking for someone interested in becoming part of the team on an ongoing basis. Event Details • Date: Sunday 28 June, • Time: 4:00pm – 9:00pm, • Pay: £13.00 per hour We will be holding interviews on Sunday between 12:00pm and 4:00pm in Imperial Wharf, South London. You will assist guests with bookings for restaurant reservations, afternoon tea, celebrations, private dining, corporate functions, birthdays and group dining experiences, providing tailored recommendations based on their requirements and the facilities available across our venues. You will prepare quotations, confirm bookings, process deposits where required and ensure all reservation details, dietary requirements, guest preferences and special requests are accurately recorded within the reservation system. Working closely with restaurant management teams, you will communicate all event details clearly, ensuring each venue has the necessary information to deliver a seamless guest experience. You will actively promote and upsell Caffè Concerto’s experiences and services, including celebration cakes, flowers, afternoon tea packages, drinks packages, exclusive dining experiences and seasonal promotions, always seeking opportunities to enhance the guest’s booking. You will follow up on outstanding enquiries, maintain regular communication with prospective clients and work proactively to convert enquiries into confirmed reservations and events. Where appropriate, you will support the Events & Reservations Manager by welcoming prospective clients and assisting with venue show-rounds, helping guests explore our restaurants and identify the most suitable location for their event or celebration. You will maintain accurate records across all reservation systems, ensuring guest profiles, payments, notes and event details remain up to date while adhering to company procedures. Experience using reservation systems such as SevenRooms, OpenTable, TheFork, DesignMyNight or similar platforms would be advantageous, although full training will be provided for the right candidate. Events Assistant Kings Cross St Pancras We are looking to recruit an energetic Events Assistant for our beautiful meeting and events space at Derbyshire House, in Kings Cross St Pancras. Derbyshire house is very well known in the industry to be one the most versatile location for all types of events, corporate and private alike. The venue is made of 11 modern meeting rooms and a rooftop terrace, hosting a wide range of events; from large corporate meetings to the wedding reception and much more. The ideal Events Assistant will come from an operational role either within Hotels, Conference/Events operations, or within a corporate establishment. Although this is predominantly a Monday to Friday role, the candidate needs to be however flexible and happy to work during the weekend, whenever required.
