Here, you’ll work through a scheduled list of jobs, equipped with the time, tools, and support you need to deliver quality work. Where You’ll Work\n You’ll be part of the Esher cluster, covering areas like Esher, Kingston upon Thames, Surbiton, Epsom, Ewell, Tolworth, Chessington, Worcester Park, Sutton, Croydon, Mitcham, and Wimbledon. What to Expect\n Your day starts with a clear digital schedule. Each job is pre-booked, with the member expecting you. You’ll carry out: \n\n • Routine servicing\n, • Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment\n, • In-depth repairs typically done in a workshop\n, • Member advice and recommendations based on your inspection\n, • Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards\n\n With SMR, you’re not reacting to breakdowns; you’re delivering planned work that you can prepare for. From day one, you’ll have everything you need: a fully equipped RAC van, fuel card, uniform, full tool set, and advanced diagnostics. Use your technical skill and problem-solving ability to get people moving again—safely, quickly, and confidently. What You’ll Need\n To thrive in this role, you’ll need: \n\n • Either an NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience\n, • Or 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic\n, • A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points\n\n No CV required when you apply, and it takes just 5 minutes—it's easier than ever to start your journey with us!
