About The Role ✅ As a Closing Team Member, you’ll work alongside a trained team member to make sure our store is properly closed at the end of each day. Your responsibilities will include: • Completing the end-of-day cleaning and closing routine., • Carrying out daily and deep cleaning tasks to our standards., • Completing all closing checks to ensure the store is clean, organised and fully prepared for the following day., • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety and organisation throughout the store., • Restocking and resetting key areas ready for the next shift., • Working closely with your teammate to complete all closing tasks efficiently and on time., • Upholding high standards in appearance, punctuality and conduct. Working schedule Part-time evening shifts, typically between 4:00pm/6:00pm and 10:30pm, depending on the rota. This is a 3-month temporary contract, with the possibility of extension based on business needs and performance. Duties • Welcome and assist guest with question, product recommendations by delivering a friendly, professional, and efficient service at all times., • Resolve basic concerns and issues when necessary., • Serve products according to brand standards (ensure presentation and product control)., • Replenish store displays, maintain product quality and freshness thorough the day, ensure cleanliness of the store at all time and support product preparation when required., • Handle cash, card and digital payments responsibly., • Promote loyalty programmes, special offers, and seasonal promotions., • Follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures at all times. As the face of our store, you will be responsible for providing a fast and efficient checkout experience while ensuring every customer leaves with a smile. Previous Experience Required • Retail/Service Background: At least 6–12 months of experience in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment., • Till Operation: Proven experience handling cash and card transactions accurately using an Epos system., • Customer Interaction: A track record of dealing with customer enquiries and resolving complaints professionally., • Legal Compliance: Prior experience or training in "Challenge 25" or similar age-restricted sales protocols is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities • Checkout Operations: Efficiently scanning items and processing payments accurately., • Customer Service: Greeting shoppers, answering enquiries, and assisting with packing when needed., • Product Knowledge: Assisting with price checks and promoting in-store loyalty schemes., • Maintain Standards: Keeping the front and back of tills area clean and ensuring bags/supplies are replenished.
