Highview Garage, a local car repair business, is looking for a dedicated and skilled Car Mechanic to join our small team. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and servicing on various makes and models of vehicles.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues accurately.
- Carry out repairs, including engine, brake, suspension, and transmission work.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and road tests.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues, recommended repairs, and progress updates.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Car Mechanic in a workshop setting.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in using a wide range of diagnostic equipment and hand tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a small team.
- A valid driver's license is essential.
- Relevant automotive certifications or qualifications are highly desirable.
- Must have own tools
