JDR Recruitment are recruiting for Cleaning Supervisors for a large distribution centre based in Worcester, WR4. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership • Supervise, motivate, and support a team of 5 cleaning operatives., • Allocate daily tasks and monitor completion against agreed standards., • Conduct team briefings and toolbox talks., • Assist with recruitment, induction, and training of new staff., • Manage attendance, timekeeping, and performance issues in line with company procedures. Cleaning Operations • Ensure all cleaning schedules are completed effectively and on time., • Monitor cleaning standards throughout warehouse, offices, canteens, washrooms, locker rooms, and communal areas., • Carry out regular quality inspections and audits., • Ensure specialist cleaning tasks are completed as required., • Respond promptly to spillages, incidents, and urgent cleaning requirements. Health & Safety • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, COSHH regulations, and company policies., • Conduct risk assessments and maintain safe systems of work., • Ensure correct use and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment., • Investigate and report accidents, near misses, and hazards., • Promote a positive safety culture within the cleaning team.
