Experteer Overview As Study Project Manager, you will lead the study team for active and passive microwave instruments destined for future Earth Observation missions. You will steer technical, programmatic and financial objectives and serve as the primary interface with Future Programs, Marketing and Sales. You will shape implementation strategies, define milestones, and coordinate cross‑disciplinary activities to prepare for mission realization. This role blends proposal preparation, study leadership, and pre‑development activities to enable affordable, competitive instrument solutions. You will work in a multicultural environment and drive impact across the project lifecycle. Compensaciones / Beneficios • Meet technical, programmatic and financial objectives of the study and align with cross‑functional stakeholders, • Define and communicate objectives and implementation strategy for the study, • Set milestones, manage team activities, and ensure deliverables and owners are clear, • Provide perspective on 6–12 month next steps and cover technical, programmatic, industrial, procurement and costing aspects, • Identify potential suppliers with Procurement for pre‑development activities, • Support industrialization definitions with industrial manager and system engineer, • Coordinate study team activities, maintain team spirit and information flow, • Perform project management tasks: scheduling, risk assessment, steering meetings, cost control, • Proactive risk and opportunity management, contractual and schedule management, • Steer cost estimates with Cost Engineers, define margins and conduct design‑to‑cost activities, • Lead design‑to‑cost efforts, identify cost drivers and balance customer value with budget, • Coordinate with end‑customer and internal/external teams; manage customer expectations, • Be the first Airbus interface to the customer for instrument studies and represent Airbus in no‑mission activities, • Control communication flow between Airbus and customer, • Identify and elevate study resource needs to management, • Travel within Europe for monthly business travels Responsabilidades • Master level engineering degree, • 5 years' experience in engineering or industrial management (mission/platform/payload experience a plus), • 3 years' experience in project management or integrated in an operational project, • Experience with implementation phase bids is a plus, • Proven ability to manage a team and foster engagement, • Ability to lead in a multi-disciplinary, international environment, • Strong decision‑making, prioritization and guideline‑setting capabilities, • Quick understanding of technical, industrial xcskxlj and programmatic drivers with clear path forward, • Track record delivering on time, cost and quality across project conditions; interest in business development, • Knowledge of ESA program phases and development cycles, • Innovative, entrepreneurial and industrial mindset; ability to challenge the status quo, • Negotiation skills; willingness to undertake international travel, • Advanced or fluent level in English; French, German or Spanish an asset Requisitos principales • Vacation days plus additional days‑off, • Attractive salary, • Hybrid model of working, • Collective transport service, • Health insurance, employee stock options, retirement plan, or study grants, • On‑site facilities (canteen, kindergarten, medical office) Microwave Instruments Study Project Manager – Getafe, ES #J-18808-Ljbffr
