ph3Job Overview /h3 pInside of TADY’s CoC (Aircraft Systems Centre of Competence), Highly Integrated Systems (HIS) is a newly created organization with specific responsibilities in Multisystem Architectures, Airborne Computing Platforms, IMA and Modular Integration, HW/SW Certification and Infrastructure and Digitalization. It acts as the Multisystem Design Office and provides transversal support and services to the whole Systems CoC, delivering cross‑functional strategies, artefacts, and support for the design, development and certification of air power systems. /p h3Tasks and Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign, implement, and maintain a robust Python‑based automation framework used across multiple programs and environments, defining architecture patterns, reusable components, libraries, and ensuring consistency, scalability, and maintainability. /li liLead the full development lifecycle of automation solutions – from requirements gathering and design to implementation, testing, deployment, and release to the end customer. /li liDefine and enforce software design principles, coding standards, and architectural patterns such as modular, hexagonal, and event‑driven architectures. /li liDevelop high‑quality production‑grade code primarily in Python, complemented by strong Shell scripting (Bash/PowerShell) skills for system‑level automation. /li liDesign and maintain Docker‑based build environments and pipelines, integrating automations into Jenkins CI/CD workflows to ensure reliable build, test, and deployment processes. /li liPromote automated testing practices, including unit, integration, and regression testing, and implement continuous integration strategies to maintain code quality. /li liWork closely with internal customers and other DevOps teams to translate operational needs into software solutions. /li liDocument all developed tools and automations – architectural decisions, API contracts, and deployment procedures – maintaining traceability and compliance with engineering standards. /li liEvaluate and integrate new technologies and methodologies to enhance the automation ecosystem. /li /ul h3Required Skills /h3 ul liDegree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with relevant experience in software architecture and DevOps environments. /li li3+ years of experience in software development and architecture, preferably in automation or tooling domains. /li liAdvanced level of Python programming, including design patterns, object‑oriented programming, and modular architectures. /li liStrong experience with Shell scripting (Bash or PowerShell) for automation and integration tasks. /li liProficiency with Docker and containerised development environments. /li liExperience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably with Jenkins. /li liSolid understanding of software architecture patterns, API design, and versioning strategies. /li liStrong focus on code quality, testing, and maintainability. /li liExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a customer‑oriented mindset. /li liAbility to work autonomously while aligning with team objectives and long‑term vision. /li liEnglish at negotiation level; German and/or French is a plus. /li /ul h3Additional Valuable Skills /h3 ul liExperience in microservices architecture and event‑driven systems. /li liKnowledge of infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform, or orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes. /li liFamiliarity with Python backend frameworks like FastAPI or Flask. /li liExperience with Git‑based workflows, code review processes, and semantic versioning. /li liKnowledge of API integration (REST, SOAP, RPC). /li liExperience with logging, monitoring, and telemetry tools for automation health tracking. /li liExposure to domain‑driven design (DDD) and hexagonal architecture principles. /li liStrong analytical and problem‑solving mindset, focused on delivering durable, scalable solutions. /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 ul liVacation days and additional days‑off – more than 35 days off in total. /li liAttractive salary and compensation package. /li liHybrid working model when possible, promoting work‑life balance. /li liCollective transport service in some sites. /li liHealth insurance, employee stock options, retirement plan, and other benefits. /li liOn‑site facilities such as free canteen, kindergarten, and medical office. /li liOpportunity to collaborate in social and corporate social responsibility initiatives. /li liExcellent upskilling opportunities and great development prospects in a multicultural environment. /li liSpecial rates in products and benefits. /li /ul h3Equal Opportunity Statement /h3 pAirbus is committed to achieving workforce diversity and creating an inclusive working environment.
