Co‑funded by the European Union in the framework of the program Galicia FEDER 2021‑2027. Research line: PROCESSES MINING FOR DECISION MAKING SUPPORTED BY ML/AI. Grant period: 01 April 2026 – 30 September 2028. Centre of Principal Researcher: POLYTECHNIC SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING AT FERROL / COMPUTER SCIENCE. Location: CEMI UDC FACILITIES – NAVANTIA, Batallones Building (Ferrol). Schedule: Monday to Friday 9:00‑14:00 and 16:00‑18:00. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDevelop, analyze, and implement AI models for prediction, simulation, diagnosis, and surrogate modelling in CEMI/Navantia industrial systems. /li liAnalyse and process industrial data, operating records, simulators, and technical documentation. /li liDevelop and evaluate knowledge‑based, ML/Deep Learning, and hybrid models for prediction, diagnosis, or reproduction of relevant behaviours. /li liStudy surrogate models for efficient simulation with partial information or costly systems. /li liPerform model comparison, error analysis, and result validation in controlled environments. /li liExplore AI tools based on LLMs/agents for information integration and automation of workflows or analysis. /li liParticipate in prototype implementation, document results, prepare technical reports, project deliverables, and scientific publications where applicable. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liSpanish nationality or equivalent for labour rights in public administration. /li liBachelor’s or higher degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related field. /li liExperience in AI, ML/Deep Learning, predictive modelling, statistical data analysis. /li liProficiency in Python and libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, scikit‑learn, pandas, NumPy, matplotlib. /li liKnowledge in data preparation, visualisation, engineering, and traceability. /li liExperience with surrogate models, scientific ML, physics‑informed models, PINNs, or simulator approximation. /li liKnowledge of digital twins, predictive maintenance, fault diagnosis, process analysis, or process mining. /li liFamiliarity with LLMs, agents, RAG, generative models, embeddings, vector databases, APIs, workflow automation. /li liExperience with industrial AI applications, robotics, real‑time systems, computer vision. /li /ul pWe are an equal‑opportunity employer.
