ph3Electrical Installation Senior Design Engineer /h3 pOpportunity within Airbus Defence and Space. The selected candidate will join the Electrical System Installation Design Department (Spanish perimeter) to support the development of Eurofighter future capabilities, such as P4E and LTE. The team is multicultural and multidisciplinary, collaborating with a high number of global stakeholders including Systems Analysis, Configuration, Structural Design, Manufacturing, and In‑Service Support. While the primary focus is on Eurofighter, the job holder will also have the opportunity to support and understand other major development programs within the department, such as FCAS, Eurodrone, A400M, or legacy combat aircraft. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liPerform the design definition dossier for Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS), including wiring diagrams and electrical harnesses. /li liDesign mechanical supports, bracketry, and complex electromechanical installations for onboard equipment and electrical boxes. /li liUtilize CATIA V5/V6-3DX alongside electrical diagram tools to model, trace, and integrate advanced electrical routing. /li liCollaborate with international engineering teams and stakeholders to align installation designs with structural and manufacturing requirements. /li liManage associated technical documentation, configuration control, and design changes throughout the product development lifecycle. /li /ul h3Skills /h3 ul liEducation: Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree, or a related discipline. /li liExperience: Over 5 years of experience in Engineering, specifically within a Design or Airframe Department. /li liSoft skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, highly self‑organized, able to propose new ideas, and highly adaptable to work on new topics in a network mode. /li liLanguages: Advanced level in English. Spanish as a mother tongue.
