Descúbralo a continuación.NTU International is preparing a proposal for the EU-funded project "EU Assistance for the Uzbekistan AgriFood Development Strategy 2020–2030", which aims to support the Government of Uzbekistan in the implementation of a sustainable, market-oriented, inclusive and climate-smart agri-food system. The project focuses on strengthening policy and regulatory frameworks, institutional capacities, and public sector governance in support of the Agri‑Food Development Strategy 2020–2030. The Technical Assistance will support institutional capacity building for veterinary services and laboratory systems, including compliance with international SPS standards, quality management systems, export certification procedures, and laboratory accreditation frameworks. NTU International is seeking a Senior Veterinary and Laboratory Accreditation Expert to support veterinary governance systems, laboratory accreditation, SPS compliance, and institutional quality assurance initiatives in Uzbekistan. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liSupport strengthening of veterinary services, animal health systems, and laboratory accreditation frameworks; /li liProvide technical assistance on veterinary governance, SPS compliance, export certification systems, and laboratory quality management; /li liSupport development and implementation of laboratory accreditation systems aligned with international standards and ISO requirements; /li liAdvise veterinary and laboratory institutions on inspection procedures, quality assurance systems, and institutional reforms; /li liSupport strengthening of diagnostic capacities, testing systems, and veterinary surveillance mechanisms; /li liContribute to preparation of veterinary assessments, accreditation procedures, technical guidelines, and institutional development plans; /li liSupport harmonisation of veterinary and laboratory procedures with international standards and export market requirements; /li liCoordinate with veterinary authorities, laboratories, accreditation bodies, Ministries, and development partners; /li liDeliver workshops, technical training, and capacity-building activities related to veterinary systems and laboratory accreditation; /li liContribute to monitoring, reporting, and analytical outputs related to SPS compliance, veterinary governance, and laboratory quality systems. /li /ul h3Education /h3 pMaster's degree in veterinary medicine, laboratory sciences, microbiology, food safety, animal health, or another relevant field. /p h3General Professional Experience /h3 ul liMinimum 10 years of professional experience in veterinary services, laboratory systems, SPS compliance, or quality assurance frameworks; /li liProven experience working on veterinary, laboratory, or agricultural development projects in developing or transition economies; /li liExperience in international development cooperation and donor-funded programmes. /li /ul h3Specific Professional Experience /h3 ul liMinimum 7 years of experience in veterinary systems, laboratory accreditation, quality management systems, or SPS compliance frameworks; /li liDemonstrated experience with ISO laboratory accreditation standards, veterinary inspection systems, export certification, or institutional strengthening initiatives; /li liExperience related to food safety systems, laboratory diagnostics, animal health surveillance, or regulatory compliance is considered an advantage; /li liExperience supporting projects financed by the EU, FAO, World Bank, IFAD, WOAH/OIE, or other international financial institutions is considered a strong asset; /li liExperience working with veterinary agencies, accreditation bodies, laboratories, or Ministries of Agriculture is considered an advantage; /li liExperience in Central Asia, Eastern Europe, or post-Soviet countries is considered an asset. /li /ul h3Languages /h3 ul liEnglish (C1 mandatory); /li liWorking knowledge of Russian is considered a strong asset. /li /ul pPlease note that inclusion in the expert pool does not guarantee immediate assignment.
