Reporting directly to theTechnical Director, you will play a key role in translating customer briefs into winning flavour creations while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesFlavour Development & EvaluationPrepare flavour samples for customer briefs, application requirements, technology assessments, quality control standards, and physical testing.Develop new flavour creations and optimize existing formulations to meet customer expectations and business needs.Evaluate internally developed and externally sourced ingredients for their flavour creation potential.Manage assigned projects, ensuring flavours meet performance, manufacturing, regulatory, and quality requirements.Support flavour scale‑up activities and production needs while following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).Technical Expertise & CollaborationAct as a technical expert to resolve flavour production challenges and customer complaints, taking ownership of your flavour ntor and support flavour assistants, fostering technical growth and knowledge llaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Analytical Chemistry, Sensory Science, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, Consumer Insights, and Product Development.Advise customers and internal stakeholders on flavour performance, ingredients, and application ntribute to research discussions, sensory evaluations, and innovation initiatives to drive continuous improvement.Identify opportunities for future research projects and technical advancements.Health, Safety & ComplianceMaintain a safe, clean, and organized laboratory environment in accordance with EH&S policies.Promote compliance with safety standards and best laboratory practices.What we're looking forBachelor's Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related discipline.3–8 years of experience as aFlavouristwithin theSweet category(Sweet Goods, Bakery, Confectionery and/or Beverages).Expert sensory and tasting skills with demonstrated ability to adapt formulations according to customer briefs and regulatory requirements.Experience interacting directly with customers, identifying needs and providing technical solutions.Ability to prepare and deliver technical presentations.Knowledge of flavour applications, manufacturing processes, and production environments.Familiarity with analytical techniques such asGC, HPLC and Mass Spectrometrywill be highly valued.Experience supervising, coaching, or mentoring junior team members.Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.At Tradebe Life Sciences, you'll become part of an international and innovative organization where science, sustainability, and talent come together.
