This role owns supplier selection, commercial negotiations, and ongoing supplier performance to ensure cost competitiveness, quality, and continuity of supply. /p pReporting to the Senior Manager, Global Category Management, this position plays a key role in translating global category strategies into execution, while also contributing insights to strategy development through market intelligence, supplier engagement, and cross-functional collaboration. /p pKey performance indicators for this role include Cost savings and cost avoidance ($ and %) for assigned categories, Supplier on‑time delivery (OTD) and quality performance, Contract coverage and compliance, Supply continuity and issue resolution cycle time, and Contribution to working capital improvements (inventory, payment terms). /p h3Essential Functions /h3 h3Category Ownership Sourcing Execution /h3 ul liOwn sourcing strategy execution for assigned direct material commodities across global operations /li liLead end-to-end sourcing activities including RFx development, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contracting /li liIdentify and deliver cost savings, cost avoidance, and value engineering opportunities /li liSupport development and refinement of global category strategies in partnership with category leadership /li /ul h3Supplier Management Performance /h3 ul liManage day-to-day supplier relationships, including performance monitoring and issue resolution /li liImplement supplier scorecards and support regular performance reviews /li liDrive improvements in supplier quality, delivery, and service levels /li liSupport supplier risk identification and mitigation planning /li /ul h3Market Intelligence Cost Management /h3 ul liMonitor commodity markets, cost drivers, and supply trends for assigned categories /li liDevelop should-cost models and support fact-based negotiations /li liProvide regular insights on pricing trends, risks, and opportunities /li /ul h3Cross-Functional Collaboration /h3 ul liPartner with Engineering on specifications, value engineering, and supplier qualification /li liAlign with Planning and Operations to ensure supply continuity and support demand requirements /li liWork closely with site procurement teams to ensure effective supplier execution and issue resolution /li /ul h3Contracting Compliance /h3 ul liNegotiate and manage supplier contracts, ensuring alignment with company terms and risk standards /li liEnsure compliance with procurement policies, processes, and ethical sourcing requirements /li liMaintain accurate sourcing and contract data within procurement systems /li /ul h3Continuous Improvement Procurement Excellence /h3 ul liSupport standardization of sourcing processes, tools, and reporting /li liContribute to procurement initiatives including supplier consolidation and process improvement /li liParticipate in digital procurement tool adoption and data-driven decision making /li /ul h3Qualifications, Skills /h3 pbRequired: /b /p ul liBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field /li li5-8+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or category management, preferably in direct materials /li liExperience in global manufacturing environments /li liStrong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills /li liDemonstrated capability with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint), PowerBI, and project planning tools /li /ul pbPreferred: /b /p ul liSourcing experience with metals or electrical components categories /li liExperience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing without direct authority in a matrixed, global organization /li liStrong communication skills with executive presence /li liExperience with ERP and eSourcing platforms (e.g., JDE, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle, Ariba, Coupa) /li liExposure to Lean / Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies /li liAPICS or ISM certification preferred (CPIM, CPM, CIRM) /li /ul pSpirax Group is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace. /p pWe look forward to receiving your application! /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
