You will join teams of experienced engineers, supervisors, and managers and gain exposure to our production processes and improvement initiatives focused on operational excellence, optimization, and continuous improvement. /p pAs an operations trainee, you will be part of a two‑year program designed to build your understanding of ADM’s operations across different departments and business units. Training will be gained primarily through hands‑on experience, supported by learning opportunities that challenge you and accelerate your development. During this time, you will be exposed to projects and experiences designed to help you develop people management skills /li liParticipation in trainee events where you will learn more about our products and other areas of ADM operations /li liSupporting Performance Excellence, our continuous improvement program, by participating in and coordinating improvement initiatives /li liWorking cross‑functionally with Operations, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Quality and Finance to translate plant processes and business needs into clear system requirements /li liContributing to maintenance and reliability improvement activities, including asset hierarchy, preventive maintenance plans, spare‑parts data, work‑order processes and KPI analysis /li liDuring the program, you will be assigned a mentor who will act as a sounding board and provide additional support /li liYou will gain exposure to and learn from regional operations leadership. Upon completion of the traineeship, we will review together, based on available opportunities and your experience, what the next development step within the organization could be /li /ul h3Responsibilities /h3 pYour main responsibility within the program is to develop the following skills, which will form the foundation of a career in operations at ADM: /p ul liGain technical knowledge of operational processes and production environments /li liDevelop practical knowledge of maintenance, reliability and asset management in a manufacturing environment /li liBuild the ability to analyse operational data, identify process gaps and support data‑driven improvements /li liDevelop project coordination, documentation, testing and change‑management skills in support of major system implementations /li liEstablish an internal network and build strong working relationships across teams and departments /li liUnderstand how the organization operates and how different departments connect to support operations /li liDevelop and practice people management skills /li liLearn about Continuous Improvement within the organization through our Performance Excellence organisation /li liContribute to and support a strong safety culture, where looking out for one another is a fundamental part of how we work /li /ul h3What will make you successful /h3 ul liA recent engineering graduate with 0–2 years of work experience, motivated to pursue a career in industrial operations, maintenance, reliability and technical project support within a fast‑paced international environment /li liA university degree in industrial, mechanical, electrical, automation, process or chemical engineering, or a related technical discipline /li liFluency in Spanish and English; additional European languages are an advantage /li liStrong interest in industrial digitalisation, continuous improvement and the implementation of operational and maintenance systems /li liA structured and detail‑oriented approach, with the ability to work accurately with process documentation, master data, system testing and action tracking /li liPrevious experience or an internship in a manufacturing environment, maintenance, engineering projects, operations, continuous improvement or systems implementation is an advantage /li liAbility to communicate confidently and effectively with colleagues at different levels in the organization /li liWillingness to self‑reflect, seek feedback and continuously improve /li liOpenness to diverse perspectives and the ability to include others when identifying solutions /li liComfort working in a dynamic, fast‑moving international environment and openness to change /li liA proactive team player who works toward both individual and company goals while keeping customers in mind /li liOpenness to mobility and new opportunities during the program /li /ul pWe are proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and value diversity at our company.
