ppAt Flipflow, we’re looking for a Forward Deploy Software Engineer to join our Retail Tech team and play a key role in how our platform is deployed, configured and operated for real customers. /p pThis is a very hands‑on, full‑time engineering role, close to the product and to day‑to‑day operations. /p pYou will work at the intersection of Engineering, Data, Operations and Customer Success, ensuring accounts are correctly set up, incidents are resolved efficiently, and internal tooling scales with the company. /p pbFlipflow is a Retail Market Intelligence Digital Shelf Analytics SaaS platform, currently scaling internationally after strong growth in Spain and Latin America. /b /p pbSince our launch in 2022, our mission has been clear: /b /p pTo give brands, manufacturers and retailers a real‑time, actionable and reliable cockpit and AI copilot to understand their products, competitors and markets — enabling better business decisions. /p pRetail is undergoing one of the biggest transformations in its history: /p pmarkets are global, competition is tougher than ever, and margins increasingly depend on execution and data. /p pAt Flipflow, we believe real‑time competitive intelligence is no longer optional — it’s a strategic advantage. /p pbWe already work with mid‑market and enterprise customers, each with different configurations, data needs, data scopes, and operational requirements. /b /p pbAs a Forward Deploy Engineer, your mission is to ensure that: /b /p ul liCustomer accounts are correctly deployed and configured /li liTechnical incidents are quickly diagnosed and resolved /li liInternal tools and processes evolve to support scale, define better workflows and reduce manual work /li /ul pYou will have a direct impact on customer satisfaction, internal operational efficiency and the scalability of the platform. /p h3What will you do? /h3 ul liExecute and maintain account setups and configurations for new and existing customers. /li liInvestigate, debug and resolve technical incidents related to data pipelines, backend services, networking layers and operational workflows. /li liAct as a technical bridge between Customer Success and Engineering, translating operational issues into clear technical actions. /li liBuild, improve and maintain internal tooling to automate setups, validations, quality checks and operational processes. /li liWork with data feeds, integrations and pipelines — including web scraping processes — ensuring data quality, consistency and correct per‑account configuration. /li liPerform data analysis and management tasks, leveraging structured datasets, BI tools and analytical platforms (e.g., OLAP environments) to validate business logic and detect anomalies. /li liMonitor systems and proactively detect issues before they impact customers. /li liDocument processes, configurations and recurring patterns to improve scalability and reduce friction over time. /li liWrite code on a daily basis using LLM‑assisted development tools (such as Cursor or similar) to understand existing code, implement solutions, refactor and speed up delivery. /li lib2–4 years of experience /b in Software Deploy Engineering, Backend Engineering or similar roles. /li libEnglish proficiency /b: fluent communication in professional environments, with at least a B2 level. /li libStrong experience in at least one of the following languages /b: Java or Go, and solid working knowledge of TypeScript (Node.js) and Python. /li libSolid understanding of networking fundamentals /b, including the transport layer of the OSI model (TCP/UDP, ports, connectivity troubleshooting). /li libExperience working with SQL databases /b, structured data and data management systems. /li liExperience using version control systems (Git‑based workflows) and contributing to CI/CD pipelines. /li liComfortable working with APIs, backend systems and technical configurations. /li liStrong problem‑solving and debugging skills. /li liAble to work autonomously and communicate effectively with non‑technical stakeholders. /li liOr equivalent professional experience in related technical fields. /li /ul pbAt Flipflow, we value engineers who combine technical skills with operational impact. /b /p pbWe’re looking for someone with: /b /p ul liOwnership mindset, reliability and a strong bias towards action /li liPractical, execution‑focused mindset /li liSolid communication and collaboration skills /li liComfort operating in ambiguous, fast‑changing environments /li liMotivation to learn, improve and grow with the product /li liAbility to define new processes and proactively design automations that increase operational efficiency /li liCompensation: Competitive salary aligned with a mid‑level engineering role /li liReal impact: Your work directly affects customers and operations /li liAccelerated learning: Exposure to complex systems, data pipelines and real production issues.
