KBR supports operations at Morón Air Base in Spain and several bases in Turkey, delivering program management, civil engineering, morale, welfare, recreation support, and other essential services under a five‑year contract. /p h3Job Summary /h3 pThe Freight Traffic Supervisor oversees personnel and material movement of shipments, yard operations, and terminal warehouse operations of the TMO, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. Candidates must know AFI 24‑602V2 and DTR Part II, supervise freight functions, interpret carrier tariff and rate service tenders, and manage MICAP/999 cargo procedures. The role is dual‑hatted as a Senior Customs Border Clearance Agent (SCBCA), meeting IAW DTR 4500.9, Part V requirements. /p pThis position is onsite with full‑time deployment to Morón Air Base, Morón, Spain. /p h3Roles And Responsibilities /h3 ul liSupervise assigned personnel performing freight functions. /li liPrepare and move cargo in line with AFI 24‑602V2 and DTR. /li liReceive, inspect, pack outbound cargo; receive, inspect, and in‑check inbound cargo per shipping procedures. /li liComplete DD Form 1149, Requisition and Shipping Document; DD Form 1384, Transportation Control and Movement Document; and other DOD freight movement forms. /li liProvide on‑call service for 999/NMCS/MICAP cargo. /li liMaintain reusable container program and assets. /li liUtilize in‑transit visibility (ITV) systems such as GATES, IGC, or electronic media to maintain ITV capability. /li liManage TPPS Transportation Payment Processing Systems, ensuring proper electronic release orders from CMOS flow into payment systems such as SYNCADA. /li liPrepare, submit, and monitor Transportation Discrepancy Reports (TDRs) in Global Freight Management. /li liMaintain qualification as Hazardous Material Preparer and ADR certifier. /li liOperate automated data processing equipment to prepare, transmit, and receive transportation data. /li liOperate various vehicles and material handling equipment to transport/load cargo/equipment. /li liOperate industrial machinery such as saws, drills, automatic wrapping machines, etc. /li liEnsure cargo is cleared for international movement with the Air Clearance Authority prior to AMC shipping. /li liOversee building area and equipment inspections, ensuring housekeeping is completed. /li liFollow all safety rules and established standards. /li liAttend DoD training, conferences, and symposiums to stay current on industry requirements. /li /ul h3Basic Qualifications /h3 ul liMeet AFSC 2T071, Traffic Freight Supervisor qualifications. /li liHave high level experience in a DoD cargo/freight section. /li liFive or more years as a Freight Supervisor with extensive knowledge of all applicable DoD regulations. /li liProficiency in operating procedures for classified, sensitive, protected, and AAE cargo. /li liProficiency with shipment planning/packaging and preparational procedures for all shipment modes. /li liProficiency in CMOS (Cargo Movement Operations System) administratively, maintaining REPSHIPS and site data as a CMOS Site Manager. /li liExperience administering and operating CMOS. /li liValid U.S. driver’s license and forklift operation capability. /li liAbility to obtain a SECRET security clearance. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liExperience with freight/cargo movement from military service training and performance. /li /ul h3KBR Benefits /h3 pKBR offers competitive lifestyle benefits that may include medical, dental, and ADD coverage.
