ppMelilla is a Spanish enclave on the North Coast of Africa, surrounded by Morocco. It is a beautiful autonomous city with a lot to offer. Travel to mainland Spain is easily accessible by plane or boat, and you can visit Morocco after crossing the border. /p pThe British Centre has been active in Melilla since 1998 and is well known and highly thought of. We are a FECEI accredited school. We offer a friendly and supportive work environment for teachers of all backgrounds. All of our teachers receive ongoing personal professional development, in addition to in-house training that is given throughout the contract. /p pExcellent professional development opportunities are offered through induction, and bimonthly training sessions and workshops. As a Trinity exam centre, training sessions on Trinity GESE and ISE exams are also given regularly. /p pAt the British Centre, we emphasize a fun, communicative approach to teaching English to children from the age of three, as well as teenagers and adults of all abilities. Our students work towards taking a Trinity GESE or ISE exam at the end of the year. /p pWe have excellent purpose built teaching facilities, plus each of our 15 classrooms is fully equipped with smart board technology. /p pThe contract is a fijo discontinuo. The contract starts in September. /p pThe contract is for 30 hours per week. This is made up of contact‑teaching hours and administrative hours. /p pCheck our Instagram, Facebook and website for a further look! /p h3Qualifications /h3 ul liNative-level speaker with an EU passport or Spanish TIE or Spanish work visa. /li liDegree and recognized TEFL qualification. PGCE and QTS are also considered. /li li1 year teaching experience of a wide range of levels and ages. /li liKnowledge of Trinity exams would be an advantage, but is not essential as full training is provided. /li /ul h3Salary and Benefits /h3 p€1,482 / month (gross) /p papproximately £1,259 / $1,694 /p pFlights, holiday pay, ongoing support. /p pSalary: /p pTeachers are paid 1482 gross per month, inclusive of any national or local holiday days. Two weeks paid holidays at Christmas and Easter. Taxes and social security are paid. Unused holiday pay is paid at the end of the contract. /p pBenefits: /p ul liAirfare from Malaga to Melilla (reimbursed in first months salary). /li liHelp with finding accommodation. /li liAll required documents are sorted for you i.e. Spanish residency card for EU nationals, social security number, registering with a GP and opening a bank account. /li liSpanish classes can be arranged upon demand. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
