Role Overview Join the vibrant Entertainment Department at Ikos Porto Petro as a Sound & Lighting Technician. This full-time seasonal role is pivotal in delivering exceptional live entertainment experiences across our award-winning beachfront resort. Reporting to the Technician Supervisor and Entertainment Manager, you will be responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining sound and lighting equipment to ensure professional audio-visual quality during rehearsals and live performances. Key Responsibilities • Operate sound and lighting consoles to provide high-quality audio and visual experiences during live shows and rehearsals., • Set up, test, and configure all audio and lighting equipment according to event requirements., • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues swiftly to maintain smooth show flow., • Support live performances including music and DJ setups with microphone checks and sound adjustments., • Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of technical gear such as speakers, consoles, lighting, and cables., • Collaborate with the Technical Team on programming, pre-visualization, and inventory management to optimize performance delivery., • Provide on-site technical assistance to performers ensuring flawless execution of resort entertainment events. Required Qualifications and Experience • Proven experience in live event sound and lighting operation, ideally in hospitality or entertainment venues., • Proficiency with sound and lighting systems, DMX programming, and basic IT setups., • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure., • Fluency in English is mandatory.
