As we continue to expand, we are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Accounting Manager to join our team and help drive our financial operations forward. Responsibilities • Oversee and manage all bookkeeping and financial operations for the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations, • Supervise and mentor an accounting assistant, providing guidance, task delegation, and performance oversight, • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts on a regular basis, • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing, • Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries, • Ensure compliance with local Spanish tax regulations as well as international financial reporting requirements, • Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies as needed, • Develop and implement internal financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets, • Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial planning activities to support business decision-making, • Manage payroll processing and related compliance requirements, • Support international financial operations, including multi-currency transactions and cross‐border reporting, • Collaborate with senior leadership to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations, • Maintain and organize financial records in accordance with company policy and legal requirements, • Attend in-office meetings and collaborative sessions at the Valencia headquarters on an as‐needed basis Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification preferred, • Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive accounting or finance experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role, • Strong knowledge of Spanish accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements, • Experience with international financial operations and multi-currency accounting, • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, • Demonstrated experience managing or supervising accounting staff, • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‐solving skills, • Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in financial reporting, • Ability to work independently in a remote capacity while maintaining clear and consistent communication with the team, • Willingness and ability to travel to the Valencia, Spain office on an as‐needed basis, • Fluency in Spanish is required; proficiency in English is strongly preferred, • Experience in the technology or data solutions industry is a plus, • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders #J-18808-Ljbffr
