The company develops complex projects for governments, international organizations and multilateral development banks, managing every stage from engineering and construction to equipment supply and commissioning. Due to the continued growth of its operations in Latin America, the company is seeking to strengthen its regional project management structure. /p h3The Position /h3 pReporting directly to Corporate Management, the Regional Director of Projects will be responsible for coordinating, supporting and supervising the Project Managers and Country Managers leading the company's operations across Central and South America, ensuring that all projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and in compliance with corporate standards, contractual commitments and client expectations. /p pThis strategic leadership position requires an experienced engineering professional capable of managing multidisciplinary teams operating across multiple countries, providing technical guidance, resolving complex project challenges and acting as the key link between Corporate Headquarters and regional operations. /p h3Main Responsibilities /h3 ul liCoordinate and oversee the execution of multiple EPC and turnkey projects across Central and South America. /li liProvide technical and managerial support to Country Managers and Project Directors throughout the project lifecycle. /li liMonitor project performance regarding schedule, budget, quality, HSE and contractual compliance. /li liEnsure consistent implementation of corporate project management methodologies, procedures and quality standards. /li liSupport project start-up, execution, commissioning and handover activities. /li liIdentify project risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies. /li liCoordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning teams. /li liReport project performance, key milestones and critical issues to Corporate Management. /li liFoster collaboration and knowledge sharing among regional project teams. /li liBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, government authorities and international funding institutions. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liUniversity Degree in Engineering (Civil, Industrial, Mechanical or equivalent). /li liMinimum of 15 years of experience managing large and complex engineering and construction projects. /li liProven experience leading multidisciplinary teams across several countries. /li liStrong background in EPC, Design Build or turnkey projects. /li liExperience in large-scale building projects is highly valued, particularly hospitals, healthcare facilities, educational buildings or other complex public infrastructure projects. /li liPrevious involvement in projects financed by Multilateral Development Banks (IDB, CABEI, World Bank, CAF or similar) will be considered a strong advantage. /li liExcellent leadership, communication, negotiation and decision-making skills. /li liProfessional proficiency in both English and Spanish. /li liAvailability for frequent travel throughout Central and South America. /li liCurrent residence in Central America is highly valued.
