The role demands a strategic negotiator who can build a dependable, scalable network of third‑party logistics (3PL) carriers from the ground up. /p h3The Mission Core Scope /h3 ul liThe Mission: Secure, onboard, and manage the performance of all external 3PL transport and last‑mile service providers across Spain, maximizing network capacity and cost efficiency while protecting corporate delivery standards. /li liThe Scope: You will take full corporate ownership of carrier relationships, commercial rate negotiations, Service Level Agreement (SLA) drafting, and ongoing vendor performance management for the Spanish market, reporting directly to regional leadership. /li /ul h3Crucial Expectations Performance Targets /h3 pTo provide a clear understanding of the accountability required, the successful candidate will be evaluated on the following key metrics during the initial 6 to 12 months: /p ul liVendor Ecosystem Commissioning: Successfully negotiate, contract, and integrate primary and secondary 3PL transport partners in time to support our phased launch dates. /li liCost Optimization Rate Structures: Secure competitive transport rate matrices (including linehaul, parcel injection, and bulky‑goods home delivery) that align with corporate profitability targets and budgetary controls. /li liStrict SLA Compliance Accountability: Establish rigorous daily, weekly, and monthly business review (QBR) processes, holding carriers accountable to target On‑Time Delivery (OTD) and cargo damage mitigation standards. /li liFlexible Capacity Architecture: Build a highly responsive carrier pipeline capable of scaling container, truckload, and final‑mile volume rapidly during e‑commerce peak seasons and promotional events. /li /ul h3Position Requirements /h3 ul liGreenfield Launch Expertise: You must have a verified background of successfully establishing, negotiating, or managing comprehensive 3PL/carrier networks from scratch within a high‑volume retail, e‑commerce, or tier‑1 logistics integrator context. /li liDeep Procurement Freight Mastery: Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of contract negotiation and tariff management within the Spanish road transport and final‑mile delivery markets. /li liLanguage Proficiency: Professional fluency in English and Spanish is mandatory to conduct complex local contract negotiations and deliver clear strategic procurement presentations to global HQ.
