ppThe World Travel Tourism Council (WTTC) is the global authority on the economic and social contribution of Travel Tourism. /p pWTTC promotes sustainable growth for the Travel Tourism sector, working with governments and international institutions to create jobs, drive exports, and generate prosperity. Council Members are the Chairs, Presidents, and Chief Executives of the world’s leading private sector Travel Tourism businesses. /p pAlongside our Council Members and Board of Vice-Chairs, OpCo and Executive Committee (EXCOM) representatives from our Member organisations, WTTC professionals guide and support the work of the Council in fulfilment of its mission. /p h3PURPOSE /h3 pThe Events Coordinator supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of WTTC’s global events programme, including the annual Global Summit and other international meetings. /p pThis hands‑on role provides operational, administrative, and logistical support across all stages of event delivery, working closely with the Events Director and internal teams to ensure events are delivered efficiently and to a high professional standard. /p h3KEY RESPONSIBILITIES /h3 h3Support Digital Marketing /h3 ul liSupport Digital Marketing with event invitation processes and communications. /li liAssist in the set‑up and management of event registration systems, event websites, and marketing communications. /li liManage all aspects of event registration, including delegate data and communications. /li liAct as a primary point of contact for delegate enquiries. /li liMaintain and update event databases. /li liProduce regular registration and attendance reports. /li /ul h3Event Administration /h3 ul liLiaise with event hosts to manage delegate accommodation allocations, including WTTC staff. /li liCoordinate with event hosts on complimentary flight allocations and travel logistics. /li liLiaise with event hosts to manage and oversee transfer logistics. /li liSet up and manage webinars and virtual meetings using Zoom and Microsoft Teams. /li /ul h3Event Coordination Delivery Support /h3 ul liAssist with, or coordinate, event‑related projects as required. /li liSupport the Events Director with event budget tracking as required. /li liProvide operational, production, and logistics support, liaising with: ul liEvent hosts /li liVenues /li liPCOs and DMCs /li /ul /li liProvide administrative support for event tendering processes and liaison with potential event hosts. /li liAttend site visits to event locations. /li liAttend selected events, providing on‑site support across event marketing, administration, and operations. /li /ul h3KNOWLEDGE EXPERIENCE /h3 ul liExperience using CRM and event management platforms, including Cvent. /li liExperience with CRM systems such as Salesforce desirable. /li liStrong working knowledge of MS Office. /li liExperience setting up and managing webinars and virtual meetings using Zoom and Microsoft Teams. /li liExperience supporting the on‑site delivery of large‑scale, international events desirable. /li liExperience managing projects and supporting budget tracking. /li liExperience dealing sensitively and professionally with senior‑level stakeholders. /li liExperience within the Travel Tourism sector desirable. /li liFluent in English required; fluency in an additional language such as Spanish or Arabic desirable. /li /ul h3SKILLS ATTRIBUTES /h3 ul liHigh level of organisation and time management skills. /li liStrong attention to detail and accuracy. /li liExcellent written and verbal communication skills. /li liAbility to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. /li liProactive, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities. /li liProfessional and diplomatic in all interactions. /li /ul h3CORE COMPETENCIES /h3 ul liStrong organisational capability /li liAttention to detail and data accuracy /li liStakeholder‑focused approach /li liReliability and accountability /li liAbility to work effectively under pressure /li liCollaborative and supportive working style /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
