We are looking for an Event & Internal Communications Specialist to join the Veepee Spain Communications team on a temporary basis. The role involves planning and executing internal corporate events, supporting internal communications, and managing the event lifecycle. Responsibilities Plan, organize and coordinate internal corporate events from concept to execution, including all staff meetings, company events, team building activities, workshops, and B2B events. Manage the full event lifecycle, ensuring quality, punctuality, and adherence to budget. Develop event concepts in collaboration with local and group communications teams and stakeholders. Source venues, suppliers, and partners, negotiate terms and manage contracts. Coordinate catering, set‑up, production, audiovisuals, merchandising, logistics and transportation. Prepare, monitor and report on budgets, costs and allocated resources. Develop retro‑planning schedules, operational checklists and documentation. Coordinate internal stakeholders (HR, Facilities, Leadership, international teams) and external partners (agencies, suppliers); oversee operational phases, managing issues swiftly and effectively. Conduct post‑event analysis: collect feedback, KPIs, and identify continuous improvement actions. Monitor trends, new formats and best practices in corporate events. Write editorial content for internal channels: newsletters, intranet articles, announcements, management messages, presentations. Manage editorial plan and internal communication calendar. Publish content using internal tools, ensuring consistency and alignment with corporate tone of voice. Adapt and localize international communication campaigns for the Spanish market. Support internal engagement and employer branding initiatives via content and storytelling. Collaborate with departments to highlight projects, people, and initiatives. Prepare presentations, reports, and documentation supporting the communications department. Maintain supplier and contact databases; support additional communication projects. Collaborate with international teams to align local initiatives with group strategy. Requirements Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related fields. 3–4 years of experience in corporate event management within an agency or in‑house communications and events department. Proven ability to independently manage events from concept to execution. Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously. Excellent organizational, planning, and problem‑solving skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines. Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to coordinate stakeholders and suppliers. Strong writing and proofreading skills; experience in editorial content and corporate communications. Knowledge of internal communication tools, newsletter platforms, intranets, and collaborative tools. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Good knowledge of Canva or similar content‑creation tools. Familiarity with AI tools applied to communication, productivity, and content creation is a plus.
