ppHostinger is seeking a System Engineer to design, run, and evolve infrastructure that powers millions of websites worldwide. The role involves collaborating with other engineers, building automation, and shaping system architectures. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign, develop, and implement new features to improve hosting platform speed, reliability, and scalability. /li liDeploy and run infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and automation. /li liOperate and observe systems through real metrics and troubleshoot performance issues. /li liRefine and tune systems to eliminate bottlenecks and simplify complexity. /li liImprove monitoring and alerting to detect problems early. /li liShare knowledge and review code with peers to raise engineering standards. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liStrong experience with Linux OS (3+ years). /li liProficiency with Ansible for automation. /li liProgramming or scripting skills in Python or Go (preferred both). /li liExperience managing and optimizing web servers, databases, and caching systems. /li liComfort with cloud platforms such as GCP. /li liSolid understanding of networking fundamentals – DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP. /li liExperience applying Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools. /li /ul h3Nice-to-Have /h3 ul liExperience with DevOps practices and open-source contributions. /li liKnowledge of CI/CD tools beyond GitHub Actions. /li liAbility to read Go and PHP code. /li liRHCSA or RHCE certifications. /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 ul liUnlimited learning opportunities and access to industry conferences. /li liFlexibility to work from home or anywhere, plus a home office budget. /li liCompany-provided sick days, paid leave, Headspace subscription, and wellbeing events. /li liCompany events, team building, celebrations, and milestone gifts. /li /ul h3Compensation /h3 pCompetitive compensation based on skills and experience.
