Experteer Overview In this role you will lead electrical design for mission-critical data centres, guiding projects from concept to construction closeout. You will drive innovative, scalable electrical solutions and mentor a multidisciplinary design team to deliver high-quality outcomes. You’ll act as a client-facing technical lead, collaborating with project management, commercial, and construction teams. This position sits at the intersection of IT and facilities, helping Eaton respond to rapid data center growth driven by digitization and AI. You will shape design standards and pursue long-term innovation within a sustainability-focused, global company. Compensaciones / Beneficios • Act as Design Manager for data centre projects, leading electrical design from concept to closeout • Remain hands-on in electrical design and own critical design aspects • Lead and coordinate electrical engineers and SMEs within a multidisciplinary team • Manage design deliverables, resources, schedules, and quality across projects • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the DC Design u0026 Engineering team • Develop and uphold electrical design standards, procedures, and best practices • Review and approve designs, calculations, reports, and specs; facilitate peer reviews • Serve as client-facing technical lead in meetings with clients, contractors, and Eaton • Lead value engineering, optioneering, and technical decision-making • Participate in site visits to monitor, review, and resolve electrical installation and commissioning matters • Collaborate with project management, commercial, and construction teams to ensure project success Responsabilidades • BSc / MSc in Electrical Engineering (MSc preferred) • 8-10 years of experience in electrical engineering for mission-critical facilities • Experience with MV and LV power distribution, transformers, UPS and standby generation • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and best practices • Experience with value engineering and integrating new technologies • AutoCAD and Revit knowledge advantageous • Fluent in Spanish and/or Italian u0026 English • Familiarity with edge computing and AI concepts • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Strategic thinking and ability to build teams and scalable processes Requisitos principales • Competitive compensation • Internal promotion opportunities • Eaton University learning and development • Challenging projects in dynamic team • Health and safety focus • Sustainability-focused culture
